We’d like to invite all Bookcrossers to Berlin because Berlin is always woth a visit. The date in particular has a strong connection to books: On May 10, 1933 the Nazis burnt books by authors who were Jewish, active in the resistance or were considered a thorn in the potentates‘ flesh. Commemoration of this event is important again and again, because after the fall of the Berlin Wall many books of GDR publishing houses were similarly burnt.
